2012 Update: Still works with latest editions of Firefox! 🙂 This is how to get a useful download tool for free! This stops the annoying download window from appearing and instead, shows a neat bar at the bottom of your browser. This also gives clear indication of how long your download has left.

In this video I will be showing you how to download a Firefox Add-on called “Download Status Bar”.
It’s very useful as it gets rid of that annoying Download Window and replaces it with a neat download bar that displays all the downloads at once and shows approximately how much times left.

Btw: I used CamStudio to Record and Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 to make the video. I put a lot of time and effort into this (mainly getting used to Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 and it’s wide range of features!). I don’t mind Windows Movie Maker but compared to Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 it is like an ant fighting a vicious lion. If you think “Well obviously, it costs loads to buy”. Well the answer is Yes and No. Try looking on YouTube to see how you can download it for free if you want to.
